Extra info: Croce d’Aune is the Italian mountain pass on which Tullio Campagnolo, when racing up it in freezing conditions in 1927, couldn’t undo the wingnut securing his rear wheel because his hands were too cold. The experience led him to develop the quick release and found a component manufacturing business in his name.
