1982 Calendar signed by Freddy Maertens

Freddy Maertens won his second professional world road race title in 1981. The race around the streets of Prague came down to a group sprint, with the super-fast Belgian just edging ahead of Giuseppe Saronni of Italy and the great French rider, Bernard Hinault.

Italian sportswear manufacturer Rogelli chose this picture of the race finish to head up their 1982 calendar, which they sent to their dealers. This copy has been signed by Freddy Maertens, and is a great souvenir for a Maertens fan. The ideal birthday present for a cyclist born in 1982.
